Born into a family of winemakers in Champagne, Luc Morlet made wine in Bordeaux and Burgundy before his blossoming relationship with his now wife, Jodie, led him to California. After spells as chief winemaker at Newton and then the Peter Michael Winery, Luc and Jodie took the plunge in 2006 and set up Morlet Family Vineyards. Their central vision is one of hand-crafting wines that reflect Luc’s expertise not only in drawing out terroir but also in the art of blending across lots to create a harmonious whole. One of the rare wineries to receive 100 point ratings across a range of varietals, today Morlet Family Wines are highly sought after across the globe.
