Located above the fog line with a southwest exposure, the rocky topsoil is made up of red and brown loam with pockets of iron-rich volcanic ash, limestone and rhyolite. This intricate mixture of soils produces Cabernet Sauvignon grapes with exquisite complexity and flavour.
