The grapes for this wine were grown in the Carneros region, where soils are dense, shallow, and high in clay content. While the soils lead to low yields, the region’s maritime climate allows a longer growing season; the end result is wines with balanced colour, flavour and acidity. Partially oak fermented and with frequent less stirring to add richness, this wine has aromas of Asian pear, brioche, and sweet vanilla. The mouthfeel is creamy with bright acidity and citrus notes lingering on the finish.
