Judy Jordan was one of the first winemakers to see the potential to produce cool climate wines from Russian River Valley. Founded in 1986 J Vineyards & Winery quickly established a reputation for high quality wines and is still one of few Californian wineries to produce both still and sparkling wines. J Vineyards produces food friendly wines, with their signature fresh acidity and bright fruit making them a versatile partner to many dishes. Opening with a golden delicious apple, anjou pear and ripe tangerine. Hazelnut, vanilla and crème brûlée are evident initially with crisp acidity on the mid palate, rounded out with warm hazelnut and coconut flavours. Very satisfying, with a long, full finish.
