On a whim, Sue and Greg White decided to give up their corporate jobs and explore the world via yacht. Anchored off Marlborough after six months at sea, they quickly fell in love with the area's beauty and decided to settle permanently. Selling their boat, they established Whitehaven in 1994 with a commitment to produce outstanding wine from quality fruit in sustainable manner. This wine is classic elegant New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc, awash with fresh grapefruit, lemongrass and warm tropical fruit, all bound up with zippy acidity and a clean, fresh finish.
