Whole berry fermented in t-bins, aged for 22 months in 100% new French Oak. it shows the pedigree of perfectly ripe fruit worked by one of the master artisans of Napa Valley, Mark Herold. After an hour in the glass it shows a fascinating rich nose of sun-warmed grain, clove, lychee and cassis, giving the wine a sense of pure exotica. The palate is intense with a stunningly smooth core of black plum and olive.
