Refund and Returns Policy - Cellars Wines

1. Overview
At Cellars Wines, we take great pride in the quality of our wines and service. If, for any reason, you are not fully satisfied with your purchase, we operate a clear and fair returns policy that exceeds UK statutory requirements.
This policy is provided in accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations (2013) and the Consumer Rights Act (2015).
2. Returns for Wine Purchases
We offer a no‑hassle 30‑day return policy for unopened bottles of wine.
If you wish to return wine within 30 days of purchase and the bottles are unopened, in their original packaging, and in saleable condition, we will refund the full purchase price.

Once received and inspected, your refund will be issued to your original payment method.
We may also offer a suitable replacement wine if preferred, but you always retain the right to a full refund.
3. Faulty, Damaged, or Corked Wines
If you receive wine that is faulty, damaged, or corked, please contact us immediately at cellars@cellars-wines.co.uk with your order number and a description of the issue.
Where possible, we will arrange a replacement or refund. We may request that the affected bottle be returned for inspection. Return postage for defective products will be covered by us.
4. Event Tickets & Experiences
For tickets or event bookings:

Full refunds are available if the event is more than 14 days away.

If the event is less than 14 days away, we regret that we cannot offer a refund unless the event is cancelled or rescheduled by us.
5. Refund Process
Once your returned item has been received and inspected, we will notify you by email to confirm approval or rejection of your refund.
Approved refunds are processed automatically to your original payment method within 5–10 working days (timing may vary depending on your payment provider).
If your refund is delayed, please:

6. Sale Items
Only regular‑priced items may be refunded. Unfortunately, sale or clearance items are non‑refundable unless faulty.
7. Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you wish to exchange for the same item, please contact cellars@cellars-wines.co.uk before returning your product.
8. Gifts
If an item was purchased as a gift and shipped directly to you, you will receive a gift credit for the value of your return once received.
If the gift was ordered and shipped to the gift giver, we will issue the refund to the original purchaser.
9. Shipping Your Return
To return your product, please send it to our returns address below. We recommend using a trackable shipping service and retaining proof of postage.

You are responsible for paying for your own return shipping costs unless the product is defective or incorrectly sent. Shipping costs are non‑refundable.
10. International Returns
At this time, we can only accept returns for orders delivered within the United Kingdom. International orders are non‑returnable unless the product arrives damaged or faulty.
11. Consumer Rights
Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law. You have the legal right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods, for any reason, and to receive a full refund, provided the goods are returned in their original condition.
Our 30‑day policy goes beyond this statutory minimum.

Shipping
Yes, we ship all over the world. Shipping costs will apply, and will be added at checkout. We run discounts and promotions all year, so stay tuned for exclusive deals.
It depends on where you are. Orders processed here will take 5-7 business days to arrive. Overseas deliveries can take anywhere from 7-16 days. Delivery details will be provided in your confirmation email.
We use all major carriers, and local courier partners. You’ll be asked to select a delivery method during checkout.
